Investigation of issues for optical interconnections creation
Possible advantages of an optoelectronic approach allow to make a conclusion about its perspective for replacement of electric interconnections in silicon IC. However, serious technical and economic issues arise at broad introduction of such approach. Such approach known more than 20 years is at an initial stage of technological development regarding its application in hybrid IC and monolithic IC.

Planetary ball mills: fining to nanosizes
Planetary ball mills are used Retsch, where a high level of powder fining is needed. In this connection, along with classical processes of fining and mixing they are suitable for colloidal fining with obtainment of nanoparticles and have sufficient mechanical energy for mechanical alloying. Extremely high centrifugal forces achieved in such mills provide high fining energy and, hence, a low process time.

Мetallization of low-temperature ceramic surface for microwelding
Low-temperature co-sintering ceramics (LTCC) with silver and gold metallization is effective solution for creation of multilayer high-frequency switch circuit boards and monolithic superhigh frequency IC packages. The ceramic circuit boards surface for such devices should be suitable for low- and high-temperature soldering, gluing with electroconductive adhesives, microwelding with gold and aluminium wire and ribbons, chemical deposition. All this requires using special materials resisting external electrochemical and mechanical effects. The article considers the features of surface metallization of LTCC ceramic circuit boards for microwelding and existing materials in Ferro paste product mix.

Nanodispersed silicon dioxide: increasing strength of building materials
Influence of silica nanoparticles on characteristics of a cement-sand-water system has been studied. Silica nanoparticles were separated from natural hydrothermal solutions using two-stage scheme: membrane concentration and cryochemical vacuum and sublimation drying of sols. Nanopowders were mixed with water intended for cement tempering and added in the cement-sand-water system with quantity of from 0,001 to 1,0 weight %. The characteristics of solid samples were measured at different age (from 3 to 28 days). Influence of nanoadditives on density, strength increasing rate and finished strength of cement samples was determined at compression.

Nanotechnological society of Russia: some directions of activity
Leading Russian scientists, for example, Academician Zh. Alferov, Nobel Prize winner, Vice-President of the RAS, have highly appreciated role of Nanotechnological society of Russia (NSR) for development of high technologies in Russia. The Third scientific and practical conference of the NSR "Entering of Russian nanotechnologies in world market: success and cooperation experience, issues and prospects", which took place in autumn 2011 in Saint Petersburg, is the confirmation of it.

Multifunctional nanoparticles for medicine
If cancer or a cardiovascular disease have been diagnosed at earlier stages, prospects for their treatment are favorable. For this reason effective methods of early detection using molecular markers could provide patients individual treatment earlier than it is done now. The use of multifunctional nanoparticles opens new possibilities in the early detection of different diseases. Due unique properties and sizes comparable with the size of biomolecules these nanomaterials can fulfill several functions: conjugation of marker-specific antibodies or relevant antigens and their availability to different methods of recognition.

Forecast for development of nanotechnologies in medicine
Nanotechnologies are penetrating into all spheres of life. It is expected that in nearest future nanobioindustry development will promote progress in medicine, replacement of approved treatment methods by new ones, with nanotechnologies becoming widespread in 2012–2015.
