Nanosieve : How It Is Made In the end of this year the plant Beta, a joint project of Trekpor Technology and JSC ROSNANO will be put in operation in Dubna situated near Moscow. In 2013 it starts to produce annually one and a half million of membrane nanofilters and one and a half thousands of apparatuses for blood plasmapheresis Gemophenix-M. It is the second similar plant in Russia. The first one ALFA is in operation in the same city. It became a successful kind of "first attempt at writing" at creation of nanotechnology articles.

Clean Green and Sun Light Of LEDs Over past centuries of its development the mankind inventing much more economic and effective light sources has made a long way from using light of a fire, torches and candles to electrical lighting. A new "light" era has come with arising technologies of semiconductor light emitting diodes (LED). It was facilitated by discovery of quantum dots (QD). One of the requirements is their operating life. The German enterprises PlasmaChem GmbH has recently developed a technology for synthesis of QD crystals and creation of transducer array meeting such requirements.

Correlation Analysis in Scanning Probe Microscopy In scanning probe microscopy, and especially in scanning tunneling microscopy, researchers often work with organic material, forming a highly ordered thin films or crystalline structures. Such objects are well suited to set oneself an ambitious goal: to get pictures from the surface of the spectacular molecular resolution. In some cases, these images allow to construct a spatial model of the crystal unit cell. The general problem of these images is their noise. In order to improve the quality of the images one can use methods of correlation analysis.

Some other methods are used at patenting of objects of nanotechnology.

Atomic Force Microscopy of Human Blood Cells Атомно-силовая микроскопия (АСМ) используется для изучения свойств биологических объектов и позволяет решать широкий спектр задач. Исследования направлены на изучение влияния флуоресцентных наночастиц на морфологию и упругие свойства мембран клеток крови человека. Изучение нейтрофилов показало, что под воздействием наночастиц происходят изменения в их морфологии, снижается упругость мембраны, наблюдается образование атипичных псевдоподий. Исследования показывают, что наночастицы – токсичные для клеток крови и подтверждают, что АСМ удобны и адекватны для биологических исследований.

In this work the oil absorption of fourteen nanopowders (made by ITAM-INPh SB RAS (Novosibirsk), Wacker and Evonik (Degussa) (Germany)), concerning lubricoolant and oil is investigated.
