Research institute for precise mechanical engineering – equipment for production of integrated circuits Production of integrated circuits (IC) requires hundreds of operations on special processing equipment which is vital for their development and mass production. By the beginning of the 1960-s development of electronic industry in the USSR caused a need for creation of machine-building production. Among the first enterprises of the Scientific Center for microelectronics in Zelenograd, on August 8, 1962 by the Resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU and CM of the USSR No. 831-358 initiated setting up the NII-350 with an experimental plant, subsequently – the Research Institute for Precise Mechanical Engineering with the Elion plant. In 1993 the Institute was included in the Joint-stock finance corporation "Sistema", and since 2002 it has worked in the area «Microelectronic solutions» in JSC «Sitroniks».

Gas-core sedimentation of structures activated by low-temperature plasma
V.Odinokov, G.Pavlov, V.Samoylikov, P.Irakin Improvement of quality of layers at minimization of impact on the surface and underlaying structures is achieved by application of gas-core sedimentation, stimulated by inductively coupled plasma chemical vapour deposition (ICP CVD). Taking into account the gas-dynamic features of injection of working gases from the gas ring surrounding the substrate in the reactor with working vacuum opens new possibilities for developing of highly effective equipment for plates of a big diameter. the work considers the influence of pressure in the reactor on gas-core sedimentation of nitride of silicon.

Production of UF- solidified ink with nanoparticles UF- solidified ink of the Russian SAN company contains nanodimensional particles of the pigment and additives. Application of nanoparticles of carbon and dioxide of titan as pigments allowed to increase the period ink shelf-life and degree of it safety for the equipment. The size of particles makes an essential impact on quality of the printing. Dimension of pigments has been reduced from one to 0,2 microns. Application of nanotechnologies in production of ink allows to improve its consumer properties, increase the quality and shelf-life, reduce production expenses and prime cost of the product.

Smooth flasks for fluorescence measurements Smooth flasks are intended for measuring the fluorescence of weakly absorbing solutions and can be used to register the excitation and emission spectra in UV and visible region, and life-times. The smooth flasks provide for many-fold increase of fluorescence intensity due to multiple passage of exciting light through the solution being tested and due to additional fluorescence collected. Also, the mirror cell with a transparent diagonal quartz plate has been used for many-fold increase of fluorescence analysis and for multiple using of a single sample adsorbed on the plate.

Work platforms in Nanograd-2012 The second Russian summer school of the School League of RUSNANO "Nanograd 2012" took place in Kazan on July 3-11, 2012. It was attended by over 150 talented students from 12 regions of Russia. 35 teachers, 30 scholars and 20 representatives of business were also involved in the school activity. Every citizen of "Nanograd" became a probationer of one of 8 eight of RUSNANO project companies. The Advanced technologies center became a platform for about 20 students, who were solving scientific and managerial problems assigned to them. The main task for the company probations was development of a number of laboratory works for school students on probe microscopy.

High Tech by Planet Earth Fundamentals of patenting practice are explained through a number of easy-to-understand and interesting inventions. Those inventions were produced by the Nature on the planet Earth. Hypothetical patent claims derived from those phenomena are presented. The examples proposed in the article will enable a novice in patenting to draft patent claims on high-tech processes in micro- and nanotechnologies.

Nanotechnology approaches to the diagnostics of bacterial and viral infections With persistent forms of infection, when the amount produced in the inflammation of pathogens below the threshold of sensitivity of standard diagnostic methods, very urgent problem of detecting pathogens exists. It is well known, that for viral and bacterial infections on a fully formed, comprising a nucleic acid (NA) particle up to several thousands of defective particles can be produced without full genome or even deprived of NC. In the body, often the main immunopathological processes are caused not by NC, but by protein components that are part of pathogens. The complex structure of viruses and bacteria when one NC is surrounded by a few tens of thousands of proteins, polysaccharides and other subunits suggests the possibility of revealing of pathogens by the detection of specific structural elements that form the capsid shell or surface lipoprotein pathogens. It should be noted that the phenotypic characteristics of microorganisms, due to stacking of the surface antigens, are often associated with their pathogenicity. This opens up new possibilities for the study at the molecular level of bacterial and viral agents, especially due to the significant progress in the development of atomic force microscopy (AFM).
