In the days of the spring school holidays in the Nanotechnologies YICC was held the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contests, which were announced at the inauguration of the YICC in December 2014 [1–2]. The main purpose of the competitions was to attract students to innovate by not only creative, but also a financial incentive, because for an essay about the Moscow plant it was possible to get a real cash prize!
The greatest interest was attracted to the contest "My first plant". What plant I would open? Why it would be demanded? Where would place production? Where would look for staff and buy the equipment? Behind each of these questions can stand its own market research, to which the young future director, or owner of the plant requires knowledge in many school disciplines.
The winner of the contest "My first plant" in the category "Plant manager" was the student of the 9th class of the Moscow school No.56 Anastasia Lisina. She offered to open a plant for the production of electron microscopes, which, unfortunately, are not produced in Russia, although it is highly in demand not only in research laboratories but also in industry, in geology, materials science, biology and medicine. The winner in the category "Moscow plant" became the student of the 7th class Igor Zaitsev. In the competition "Designing biosensors" first place was taken by a student of the Faculty of Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University Denis Zotov.
