Advantages of FemtoScan Online include intuitive user-friendly interface, a wide set of features and algorithms, built in user manual with detailed instructions, support of different data formats, fast and easy installation on a computer. FemtoScan Online has been developed in close collaboration with scientists who were engaged in scanning probe microscopy for over 20 years, since 1996, so that many important features were implemented in the most user-friendly manner. Software code and algorithms are continuously improved together with the advent of new methods and development of scanning probe microscopy.
FemtoScan Online consists of separate modules (table 1). Table 2 shows the file formats supported by software.
FemtoScan Online is an indispensable assistant in the work of many researchers, experts, teachers, postgraduates, students and pupils. Detailed information about software is presented on the websites www.nanoscopy.ru and www.nanoscopy.net.
Users of FemtoScan scanning probe microscope use software to process images and to control the microscope itself and all parameters of the measurements. Examples of the results of the scanning and data processing are shown in the Figures.
