Precision hydrophone based on electrochemical pressure transducer
Precision hydrophone based on electrochemical pressure transducer
The paper highlights a new prototype of a high-precision hydrophone based on an electrochemical planar-type transducer. We have developed a new planar electrochemical microchip and designed a mechanical system that allows detecting the variable pressure at low frequencies up to 0.01 Hz. The developed sensing element can become the basis for the new generation of acoustic pressure receivers, vector acoustic receivers and sound pressure gradient loggers.
